In-Service Training (INSET)

The INSET is a program mandated by the GASTPE Law (R.A. 8545) that emphasizes the need for the DepEd to implement programs improve the quality of education the country by maximizing the use of resources in the private education sector.

Sec. 12 of R.A. 8545 provides the INSET Fund for the purpose of improving the quality of teaching in the private secondary education and to provide for the upgrading of content and teaching competencies in critical subject areas and for innovative teaching techniques and strategies, to include multi media and other technologies to assist instruction.

INSET on Life Career Development Program for administrators and guidance counselors

The Private Education Assistance Committee (PEAC) invites private school administrators and guidance counselors to attend a three-day training on Life Career Development Program that will run from September to November 2016. The training is designed to help identify and implement career advocacy activities that will guide students in choosing career tracks and equip them with necessary skills and values.
